The NFL Draft will come and go like every draft before it, but instead of fading off into the sunset it’ll give us a collection of 2017 NFL draft prospects with unforgettable names. As we showed you in our 2017 NFL Mock Draft, the opportunity for sports memes is endless – the mockery undeniable. Here we’ll pay our respects to the best names in the sport.
Forrest Lamp – [*Newly Addition*]
39 straight starts as a bruising offensive lineman at Western Kentucky should keep Forrest “I Love Lamp” high on NFL teams’ radars. Look for the 6-foot-3 tackle to potentially move inside at the next level.
The hard hitter with a mysterious draft grade.
6-foot-2 with 216 of pure ferocity, JuJu will do just fine at the next level. Silver Linings Playbook was big on the whole JuJu thing, so there’s that.
The Mitchelin Man finished with a 68.2 completion percentage with 30 touchdowns, only six picks, 308 rushing yards, and five touchdowns with it on the ground. The quarterback-needy New York Jets may be in love.
Already the best name in the game and among 2017 NFL Draft prospects. NFL.com can take this one..
Baker’s given name is Bishard, but has gone by Budda since birth because his mother thought he looked like a Buddha doll. Nothing Zen about his game, though, as he’s been a starter for the Huskies since he stepped on campus. The former Washington state high school 100-meter champion (and three-time state football champ) was honorable mention All-Pac 12 as a freshman (80 tackles, INT, six pass break-ups). Baker garnered first-team all-conference honors in 2015 (49 tackles, seven PBU) and 2016 (team-leading 71 tackles, 10 for loss, two INT, six PBU).
If football doesn’t work out for him, North Carolina Defensive Lineman Nazair Jones certainly has a career alongside Nasir Jones. That pair would beautifully destroy the haters.
Ohio State linebacker Raekwon McMillan could theoretically drop an album at any moment.
